The Generalissimo's headquarters received a long-distance telephone call from Soochow yester- day evening stating that twelve Japanese planes which passed Kunshan between 4 and 5 o'clock in the afternoon, bombed several points along the Shanghai Nanking Railway.
Many bombs were dropped on the Soochow railway station, where a Red Cross train is alleged to have been hit, killing and wounding many
