Whether or not all the Powers invited will at- tend the Conference, the British Government is in sistent that the meeting go forward and their pro- posals be discussed.
Mr. Anthony Eden, the principal British delegate, will urge that the Conference does not concern itself with politics and that the discus- sion be limited as far as possible to the actual problem of Mediter ranean security and irrevelevant polemics be avoided.
Swift, practical and concerted action to end Mediterranean piracy is Britain's aim. --
