THE Semi-Final Round games in the Open Singles Lawn Bowls championship, held at the Hong Kong Football Club yesterday produced play of a high standard and the large number of spectators present were treated to some exciting sport, while the finish of the Omar and Russell game was one of the most thrilling seen in any of the competitions this season.

There was nothing to choose between Omar and Russell as both players were in great form and there was never many shots differ- HE 1st Battalion, the Middlesex Regiment, which is at present ence in the score.
