A meeting of British Cabinet Ministers, to con- sider all possible steps to try and ensure a peaceful solution of the situation at Shanghai, was held yes- terday, those present being the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, the First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr. A. Duff Cooper, the Secretary for War, Mr. Leslie Hore Belisha, the Secretary for the Colonies, Mr. Ormsby-Gore, and the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Lord Halifax. ⠀⠀
