ZIONISTS CONDEMN PLAN FOR PALESTINE PARTITION Important Resolution To Be Voted On To-day EXECUTIVE GIVEN AUTHORITY TO FIGHT

The Zionist Congress has drawn up a resolu- tion upon which the delegates are voting to-day categorically denying that the Palestine Mandate in unworkable.
The resolution emphasises that the Commis- sion's partition plan is unacceptable to the Zionist organisation and authorises the Executive to fight by negotiations any measures affecting Jewish rights guaranteed by the Mandate and the Bal- four Declaration."
It is expected that the resolution will be overwhelmingly adopted.
Differing opinion has, however, been expressed during the session.
PALESTINE VIEW
The creation of a small Jewish. state in Palestine will be the means of rapidly developing the strength of Jewry in the world, said the Palestine delegate, Ben Gueion, in a speech at yesterday's meeting the Zionist Congress.

The new State, according to the speaker, would modify the whole position of Jewry, since the Jewish State from a legal standpoint would be invested with the same rights as a great power.
