FRENCH COMMUNISTS LAUNCH FIERCE ATTACK ON CHAUTEMPS' POLICIES
Paris, To day.
French foreign and domestic policy was the subject of severe criticism at yesterday's session of the Central Committee of the French Communist Party.
The Communist delegate, M. Duclos, maintain- ed that the policy pursued by M. Pierre Laval when he was Premier had prepared the way for the Nazi- Fascist attack on Republican Spain, and he con- demned the whole system of non-intervention.
Turning to domestic policy, M. Duclos criticised the policy of the Chautemps Government, which he said, was designed solely for the benefit of Capital.
He deplored the fact that the! hadi Popular Front programme. not yet been translated into real- ity and that Rightist Associa- tions were still allowed to remain in existence.

Press reform, he said, had be come a dead letter and the Gov- ernment had failed to grant equal rights in the matter of pro- paganda.
M. Duclos put forward a de-. mand that the blockade of Re publican Spain be raised.
