CHESS VICTORY OVER CANTON FOR KOWLOON

Seven Nations Represented

The Canton Chess Club were en- tertained by the Kowloon Chess Club at Messrs. Lane Crawford last Saturday. The match resulted in an easy win for Kowloon, but some games were well contested.

Speeches of welcome were made on both sides at the dinner by Mr. E. Ammann and Mr. Victor Rush. A very enjoyable evening was con- cluded by a lightning Tourney at 10 seconds a move, in which Mr. Ammann and Mr. V. Rush divided the honours.
