Soong, Chairman of the National Council, on stabilising the Kwangsi currency, General Li Chung-jen, Pacification Commission- er for Kwangsi, will return to Kwei- lin to-morrow.
It is stated that General Lî has accepted the proposals of Mr. Soong to turn over silver stocks and cus- toms and salt revenues to the Cen- tral Government, while Mr. Soong sa. has promised to consider with the Central authorities the proposal of General Li as to the ratio of $1.60 Kwangsi currency to $1.00 national currency.—Our Own Correspondent.
