WILL REICH DECIDE TO TAKE UNILATERAL ACTION IN SPAIN?

Berlin, To-day.

The increasing gravity of the situation arising from the Leipzig incidents and the inability of the four Powers to agree to a course of action, form the principle subject of discussion in the Wilhelm-- strasse.

Following the announcement of postponement of his visit to London, the Foreign Minister, Baron von Neurath, called on Herr Hitler yesterday.

The two statesmen are also believed to have decided · on whether Germany is to take individual action or not on the coasts of Spain.

the

Regret is expressed that foreign countries, and especially Britain, fail to understand the German predicament in the right perspective.

Some objection is taken to the comment of the London news-

papers.

The paper declares that it

SOURCE IMPORTANT

"That it was not reported on June 15 that three torpedoes were fired at the Leipzig but missed their mark is partly due to the wish not unnecessarily to alarm the relatives of the crew, and also because it was deemed advisable to investigate the source of the rum- ours before taking further steps, since these rumours had obviously originated outside German circles.”
