The death has occurred at the age of 77 of Sir Squire Sprigge, Editor of "The Lancet.”
The late Sir Squire Sprigge took the degrees of M.A., M.D. and Bachelor of Science at Cambridge, and was a Fellow of the Royal Col- lege of Physicians and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
He joined the staff of "The Lancet," the well-known medical journal, in 1892 and was editor of the publication at the time of his death.
He was Chairman of the Society of Authors from 1910 to 1913, and had many books on medicine to his credit-Reuter.
