IN N the course of my notes in May of last year, I suggested that it would be advisable for the H.K.L.B.A. to fix a time limit for the postponement of league matches and the wisdom of my sugges- tion was proved last Saturday.
BEARING IN MIND THAT ONE CAN GET TO ANY CLUB IN THE COLONY IN APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR, I PROPOS- ED 2.30 P.M. AS A SUITABLE TIME AND I STILL THINK THAT THIS IS A REASONABLE HOUR.
On Saturday last, two matches were cancelled as early as 12 noon when the weather was certainly a little doubtful but definitely showing signs of breaking for the better. As we all know, the rain stopped, the sun came out brightly and with the exception of these two games, a full programme was carried out.

The Association will have as much as it can do to fit. in all the league matches if we have many more wet Saturdays and I contend 15 that it is neither fair to the HI K. L. B. A. nor to the opponents con- cerned, to make such unjustified cancellations.

not imagine they will let last week's victory go to their heads. The visit- ing team put up a remarkably good fight again the Portuguese team on Saturday last and I fancy them to win at Cox's Road., N
Craigengower Seconds should be able to overcome the H.K.F.C. with- out much difficulty, whilst I also expect the K.B.G.C. to keep the points against the Police juniors.
THIRD DIVISION,
The two football clubs are to do battle on the bowling green as they have done so many times on the football pitch. What the result of the soccer series, is, to date, I have no idea, but Kowloon should draw first blood in the lawn bowls en- counters.
