Mint Denies Flaw In Punctuation
London (By Air Mail). Speculators in the new 12-sided three-penny bits just issued, who hoped to make a profit from them, had their hopes dashed to the ground as a result of a statement by the Mint.
After the pièces had been issued. -only 160,000 of them-a fort- night ago, they were soon snapped up by the public.
A rumour started from an un- traceable source that these had some flaw in them and that the Mint intended to withdraw them.
The alleged flaw was a punctuation
