Vote Of 100 Gas, Towards British Empire Games

London, May 1.

The FA Coimisil: decided yester- day to support the recommendation of the Scottish F.A. that in future a fee of £8 be paid to each pro- fessional player taking part in an international match. A donation of 100 guineas was voted towards the expenses of the British Empire Games in Australia next year.

The Council decided to adopt a report as to the practicability of disbanding the Football National War Fund Committee and the re- version of the fund to its original a venevolent fand, under the sole jurisdiction of the Foot- ball Association, for the assistance of nécessitous players and others who have rendered service to the game, or their families."
