Pittsburgh, April 15. James Braddock, world heavy- weight boxing champion, says that he has received an offer of £80,000 to meet Joe Louis, the negro heavy-weight contender, here some time in the summer.
It is understood that if the fight comes off it will take place either in the University of Pittsburgh Stadium or at Forbes Field, the home ground of the Pittsburgh baseball team.

Yacht Club
The most important event of the early summer season will be the international yachting regatta, which opens on June 19. Be- : tween 300 and 400 yachts, British and foreign, are expected to enter. The regatta will be the biggest of its kind held in Britain.
June also sees the opening of the summer programme at the ballroom in Torquay's Marine Spa, where the spacious sun lounge has been extended. The bathing beaches have already been open for three weeks.
