Kowloon Stabbing Outrage

Sincere's Director Fatally Wounded Last Night

-

No explanation is yet forthcoming to explain the shocking stabbing outrage in Prince Edward Road last evening when Mr. David Chen See (Chen Lai-tsan), managing director of the Sincere Com- pany, was fatally wounded by an unknown slayer. The victim, who was 60 years of age, was rush- ed to the Kowloon Hospital in a critical condition and passed away at 4 a.m. to-day, despite every medical attention.

POLICE INVESTIGATING THE CRIME ARE SATISFIED THAT ROBBERY WAS NOT THE MOTIVE AND IT IS ASSUMED THAT THE ATTACK WAS INSPIRED BY AN ENEMY WHO EM- PLOYED A HIRED ASSASSIN.
