MOST OF THE ANIMATED CROWD WAITED UNTIL 11.15, LONG AFTER THE TRACK EVENTS WERE OVER, TO WATCH MISS D. ODAM, THE OLYMPIC HIGH JUMPER, WIN HER EVENT, AND THEN GO ON TO CLEAR 5FT. 21⁄2IN,, ANOTHER OF THE SEVERAL "BEST PERFORMANCES” THAT WERE SET UP DURING THREE HOURS OF TENSE COMPETITION.
The conduct of the meeting was prompt and effective, and the banked board track was very satisfactory for those events for which it was constructed the two relays, the half-mile and the two miles.
