LORIOUS weather featured the Macao race meeting which was held yesterday before a large gathering of racing fans from Hong Kong and by the Governor of Macao, His Excellency Dr. Artur Tamagnini de Souza Barbosa,

Mr. P. P. Botelho, who made his debut at Macao yesterday was the most successful jockey with two wins and a second. King's Parade, owned by Mr. H. A. Browning, was the most successful pony, winning the Machine Gun Troop Race (Un- official) with its owner up, and the Barra Handicap with Mr. Y. T. Fung up.
Hohenfels, which was the most heavily backed pony of the afternoon, was heasily beaten in the Ma Kau Siac Handicap and} failed to secure a place.
