The King and Queen received their biggest pre-Coronation reception hitherto when they re- turned with Princess Elizabeth and Princess Mar- garet Rose from Windsor yesterday afternoon.
The traffic was so dense that the Royal car was forced to return by an unusual route.
THE POLICE HAD DIFFICULTY IN CLEARING A WAY THROUGH THE DENSE TRAFFIC, AND SEVERAL TIMES THE CAR WAS HELD UP FOR A MOMENT OR SO OWING TO THE CRUSH OF VEHICLES AND SIGHTSEERS.
