Brooklyn Blanked: Baseball Results

New York, To-day.

The outstanding feature of yes- terday's American baseball pro gramme was Whitehead's perform ance for the Giants against the Dodgers in the National League, when he slammed two home-runs, while Fitzsimmons, of the same team, also clouted a four-bagger.

Chicago secured an overwhelm- ing victory in the American League over the St. Louis Browns, Strat- ton blanking the latter team.
