Perry WHO ON FORM IS ONE OF THE MOST STYLISH BATS IN THE J. E. Richardson COLONY, WAS EXTRAORDINARILY DISAPPOINTING AND COULD ONLY AGGREGATE 25 RUNS IN FIVÉ INNINGS.
Colledge started off very well, scoring a 50, and a 56, respec- tively, in his first two matches, while Richardson took some time to find his true form. Towards the latter part of the season, the lat- ter improved considerably to score two very useful, sixties, College declined.
It was this inconsistency on the part of the best batsmen in the team that resulted in SO many low scores. On the only occasion that more than one bat came off, the side totalled 204 for 6, and this against the Club.

The attack was consistently good, Baker, Richardson, McLellan, Per- ry and Haynes providing lots of variety. The
highest score registered by
opposing team was 152, by. the Uni- versity, while K.C.C., probably the strongest batting side in the sen- ior division, were all dismissed for 138.
Provided they can keep the same Civil team together
next season, Service have every reason to look

Indian R. C. juniors, although de- posed from the position of cham- pions, need not feel depressed over their comparatively poor record for A. M. Rumjahn
A Bakar this season. If nothing else, they discovered some very promising ta- lent in several schoolboy recruits, who will, without doubt, profit con- siderably from their experience in the league.
