DISGRACEFUL FOOTBALL

Eastern Defeat South China

JUNIOR LEAGUE

FIXTURE

One of the most disgraceful ex- hibitions of football seen in the Colony was witnessed at Caroline Hill yesterday, when South China defeated Eastern in the Second Division of the Hong Kong League by the odd goal in three.

The game

was of a very

poor standard and was marred by doubt- ful tactics on both sides, and in the latter stages of the game little at- tempt to play football was made:

TWO PLAYERS SHINE The game itself was mostly of a kick and run type. Little combin- ation was seen on either side. Only Leung Po-yin, Eastern's inside- right, and Choo Wing-hong, South China's right-wing, livened up the game by some good individual play.
