HE Services S.R. Championship Aggregate, the coveted prize of the Services Rifle Meeting, held under the auspices of the Hong Kong Rifle As- Sociation, was won by Sergeant Warwick, of the Royal Marines, yesterday, the final day of the meet. The achievement of Sergeant Warwick deserves special mention in view of the fact that this year is the first in which the Royal Navy has sent competi- tors to the meet.
IT IS ALSO WORTHY OF NOTE THAT OUT OF THE FIRST TEN PLACES, FOUR WERE GAINED BY NAVAL COMPETI- TORS. THE SHOOTING WAS EXTREMELY GOOD THROUGH- OUT, WHICH ONLY ADDS TO THE DISTINCTION THE WIN- NER HAS ATTAINED.
The second half of the Bisley meet opens to-day with two squadded events, the President's Cup and the Secretary's Cup, which as the names imply, have been presented for competition by Major Walker and Major Steers. On Sunday morning, shooting starts in the qualifying stages for His Excellency the Governor's Cup.
