RECORDS GALORE
The biggest attendance in the Sixth Round of the F.A. Cup was 71,913 at Tottenham, which is also The receipts were a record. £5,714, A third ground record was established at Wolverhampton, where the crowd numbered 57,715 and the receipts totalled £4,278.
The aggregate. Sixth Round at- tendances and receipts showed a remarkable increase on last year's figures. On Saturday 236,917 people paid £17,292 to watch the four ties compared with 140,866 and £12,623 respectively 12 months ago. Over two and three-quarter million spectators have attended this season's Cup-ties so far.

MOSS TO MANAGE HEARTS
MOSS, the Arsenal and England international goalkeeper, has
been appointed manager to Heart of Midlothian, the Scottish First Division club. He succeeds Mr. David Pratt, who recently resigned:

he was still registered as a player
on Arsenal's books, but the club ENCOUNTERS
has released him to begin his new duties in a fortnight's time.
Moss played for England four times against Scotland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia (1934) and Italy (1935). At the height of his career he dislocated a shoulder in twice in less than a year.

WEST BROMWICH ALBION EQUAL RECORD
West Bromwich Albion are now in the semi-final for the thirteenth time, thus equalling the records of Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers.
If they win the Cup again I' must recall to their chairman, Mr. W. I. Bassett, the prophecy he made to me before Christmas when Albion were in the wilderness: "I think this may be our Cup sea- son!" writes Frank Coles. Albion had a gate of 64,815 and receipts of £3,913 for their tie with Arsenal: Both figures are ground records.
