GYMNASIUM, ICE RINK AND POOL A SCHEME to furnish Shanghai with a modern, well-equipped athletic hall and indoor arena has been developed. The new establishment, which will cost approximately $1,750,000, including land, equipment and buildings, will be situated on a plot of ground at the corner of Burkill and Myburgh Roads with an entrance from Bubbling Well Road
The announcement of this project was made yesterday by the board of directors of the new athletic hall, which will be known as the Olympia. Many business men of the city are on the board while Dr. C. T. Wang, Chinese Ambassador to the United States, is to be a patron.
