RUBBER EXPORTS
London, To-day.
By a Protocol amending the 1934 agreement between France, Bri- tain, India, Holland and Siam, re- gulating the production and export of rubber was signed on February 5th and published to-night. Article 4-a of the agreement is amended as follows.
"Netherlands India, 1936: 500,- 000 tons; 1937, 520,000 tons; 1938, 540,000 tons.” The Protocol is in force. British Wireless.

Weekly Return
In the Colony of Hong Kong includ- ing the Island, Kowloon and the New Territories during the week ending at 8 am on Saturday, the 27th instant, there were altogether 44 traffic accid- ents, as the result of which 21 persons were injured
Of the persons injured, 8 were pe- destrians, who were either walking or running across the road and were struck by vehicles.
One cyclist was injured as the result of a collision between two vehicles.
One lorry driver and passenger were injured when their vehicle ran off: the roadway.
One cyclist, a lorry passenger, I bus driver and 2 bus passengers were in- jured when their vehicles collided with trees at 3 different places.
Three lorry passengers were injured through falling from three different moving motor lorries."
A bus passenger was injured while alighting from a moving motor bus.
A Chinese male was knocked down and injured by a motor lorry, number unknown.
Of the 44 accidents, 20 were colli- sions between vehicles; 10 were colli- sions between vehicles and pedestrians; | and 14 accidents were due to other canses.
