Coronation Medals
H.K. GOVERNMENT COMMUNIQUE
An official communique issued by the Colonial Secretariat this morning states:-
Special medals to commemorate His Majesty's Coronation are being issued by the Royal Mint in silver and bronze and will be made avail- able to purchasers through local firms at prices which will be an- nounced later.
Specimens of the medal will also be obtainable in gold at prices of 50 guineas for the large and 12 guineas for the small medal, în-` cluding a leather case.

Father Charged With Manslaughter
Chan Chun, a bricklayer, was charged with manslaughter this morning
He is the father of the 15- year-old girl who was found dead in Electric Lane yester- day morning. The postmortem revealed a fractured skull and intercranial hemorrhage. The allegation is that the father, punishing the girl, struck the blow which caused the injuries.
