ANOTHER PARIS FIGHT FOR KANE

Paris, January 2-Peter Kane, the English fly-weight, who made such a favourable impression when besting Valentin Angelmann, the world champion according to the LBU., at catch-weights here on Monday, is to have another contest in Paris.

On March 1 at the Palais des Sports, under the auspices of Jef Dickson, he will meet the winner of the fight between Pierre Louis (France) and Ernst Weiss (Aus- tris), which takes place to-day week. Weiss recently lost to An- gelmann on points in a bout for the former's title.

A scheme to run a Boys' inter- soccer championship in the Colony, much on the lines as the "Sunday Herald" In- ternational Charity Cup series, is now being undertaken by the Committee in charge of the Hong Kong Boys Amateur League, which will shortly make a start.

The new scheme if time permits and if grounds. are available, should add great interest to local soccer and with the Seaforths Fusiliers and Rifles having boys teams, there should be no great dificulty in raising at least six National teams. The scheme will be placed before the HKFA in dne course for their consent
