ATTEMPT TO RAISE

LUSITANIA

WRECK DEFINITELY LOCATED OFF IRISH COAST

London, To-day.

An attempt to raise the Cunard liner "Lusitania," sunk by a German submarine off the Head of Kinsale, South Ireland, in 1915, is to be made in April, according to the "Morning Post."

According to the plans of the salvage company which is under- taking the difficult task, the hull of the sunken liner will be dyna- mited in order to obtain access to the strong-rooms containing bullion.

The main difficulty which has hitherto prevented recovery of the liner has been the uncertainty over the exact position of the wreck.

Now, say the paper, the wreck has been located after months of sounding operations-Trans-Ocean.
