A. Scott's arrival here as an easy winner of the Johannesburg sir race, news was received that Capt. Findlay and Mr. Waller's Airspeed Envoy had crashed at Abercorn, Northern Rhodesia, and that Capt. Findlay and the wireless operator. Mr. A. H. Morgan, had been kill jed. Mr. Waller and Mr. Derek Peachey, who was a passenger in the plane, were suffering from shock in addition to other injur-: fies.
