ST. Joseph's Football Club, which created a stir in local soccer circles last year when they were the first to lower the colours of the South China "A" team, have practically the same team at their disposal this year, and are in fact being strengthened by the return of two Recreio play- ers in T. Castilho and N. Delgado.
The Saints do not anticipate finishing near the top this season, but confidently expect to hold their own against most of the teams in the League, due to the fact that last season they were able to account for several teams that finished higher than they did in the League table.
Their two Chinese players, Lewis Woo and "Darky" Lee. will not be available this season as they will be playing for the Chinese Athletic, while another great loss the Saints have sus- tained in in Sinclair, of the Royal Corps of Signals, their former pivot. who, it is understood. will not be playing for any civilian! club this season.
