LAST Saturday's programme in the Lawn
Bowls League was notable for three things. In the first place, the Kowloon Bowling Green. Club juniors made certain of the championship; secondly Club de Recreio juniors created a new aggregate record, whilst lastly there were no less than four drawn matches.
That the junior champions would repeat their last year's success has appeared likely for some weeks past, but their recent home luss to their nearest rivals, Club de Recreio juniors, set them back a peg or two. They beat the Police, as expected, on Saturday and finished up with two losses in 18-the Craigen- gower team quite unexpectedly beating them in the first match of the season.
