The Hon, Mr. R A. D. Forrest. Acting Colonial Secretary, presid-i ed.

The Hon. Mr. Braga said: Has that it occurred to Government this question of the cost of arrest- ing and imprisoning returned de- portees is growing so large as to be out of all proportion to the class of delinquents that this Colony has to keep? Every now and then these we are called upon to vote sums of money and when all is said and done I think it is about time! that Government should look into the matter as one of policy whe ther we should go on paying out; good money for these people, de- linquents in a sense but not in a criminal sense, who are deported by one boat and return by another. Looking at it from the point of view of the easy ingress to and. the equally easy egress-from the Colony, it would seem that we have thousands of undesirables who real come in and out and are a and practical burden on the finan ces of the Colony.

"In one year I have succeeded reducing myself from 17 stone 10 lbs. to. 12 stone 12 lbs.. largely by the re- gular used of Kruschen Salts. Friends who have not seen me in the inter-i vening period fall to recognise me.]

Kruschert keeps the system free from harmful toxins; it keeps you feeling fine and, fit all the time. Energetic activity takes the place of sluggish indolence, whilst you lose excess fat gradually and without dis- comfort.
