LAST Saturday's Lawn Bowls League pro-
gramme was very nearly washed out by W. Macfarlane's early morning rainfall, but the weather cleared extraordinarily well to permit all matches to be played to a conclusion, although the Kowloon en- counters did not make a start until 4 p.m. The outstanding feature of the programme was the

There were some very close tussies in the premier League, the Indians very nearly upsetting calculations against Club de Recreio! The latter were strongly favoured to win even although

H. ROSE LEADS JUNIOR DIVISION
Only two skips, who have skipped in three or more matches have retained their 100 per cent, records to date, J. Fraser, the Kowloon Cricket Club senior skip, having won all four of his matches to date, while H. H. Rose, of the Kowloon Bowling Green Club, leads the Junior skips with the fine record of seven wins in as many games.
In spite of his defeat at the hands of Fraser's K.C.C. rink last Saturday, R. Duncan, the defeated Colony Singles champion, still retains his position at the top of the First Division table, being 80 shots up, while A. Hyde-Lay, with an equal number of wins; is 45 shots in arrears.
The following are the complete records, of all senior and junior skips in the League this season to date:-
