The explosion of an angesthetic in an operating theatre at 3d- dlesex Hospital was described at a Paddington inquest recently. Mr. Ingleby Oddie, the coroner, recorded a verdict of accidentul! death. The inquiry was into the death of Wilfred Banfield, 42, of MORE SINAJ ALPHABETICAL Greenford.
Mr. Banfield was undergoing a throat examination at the time of the explosion. He died 3 days later.
