The death occurred yesterday morning at the Kowloon Hospital. from. typhoid fever. of Mr. Carlos) Noberta Gossno, at the early age

of 24

The late Mr. Gosano was the brother of Messrs. A. V, and B. T. Gosano, the interport footballers, while another brother. Mr. E L.! Gosano. has figured prominently as a cricketer, being one of the leading players at Hong Kong University.

Educated at St. Joseph's Col- Jege, the deceased was employed in the Hong Kong and Shanghai having Banking Corporation,

firm upon leaving joined the Fchool eight years ago.

Himself a keen sportsman; the late Mr. Gosano was closely iden÷ tified with the cricket team of the Club de Recreio and played regu-İ larly for the side in the local League.

The funeral took place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in the afternoon, being attended by a very large gathering of relatives, colleagues and friends. The chief mourners were four bro- thers, Messrs. A.V., B., E.L., and L Gesano.

The deceased is also survived by a mother, Mrs. A. Gosano, twoi sisters. the Misses M. and L Gosano, and two younger bro- thers, G. and Z. Gosano,
