EVIATING from her usual Winter route and making her de but in the world cruise field, the German steamer Reliance, sistership to the ss. Resolute, sailed from New York on her first cruise round-the-world on January 9. She will reach Hong Kong on March 30 and will sail for Shanghai the next day, reaching New York on May 26.

During the trip the Reliance will cover a distance of 40,000. miles, crossing the three largest oceans - the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific and touching four continents South America, Africa, Asia and North America,
