Faster Machines To Be Introduced

NEW BID FOR PROSPERITY

IN ENGLAND

London.

Air Line operators are cons dering plans for providing still faster machines on the British in- ternal routes.

The volume of air traffic on the trunk routes this year shows a small increase over last year's figures, but the results. are not very encouraging. Speed is the key which will open the door to prosperity.

This year transport firms have had twin and four-engined--ma- -chines capable of carrying up to) 12 and 14 passengers at 130 to 140 mph. It is not enough.
