Two immediate questions arising out of the Government financial decrees, including the method of executing the cur rency measures in the border provinces, where paper legal ten- der has never been circulated, and how to check the general rise of price levels and of the exchange rate for subsidiary money, have been satisfactory settled by the Ministry of Fin- ance, according to information from the Ministry.
It has been decided by the Ministry of Finance that in the border provinces, where the legal tender has not yet been cir- calated, the status" quo" will be maintained, while the Govern-1 ment banks will be instructed to ship legal tender to these outlying territories immediately.
