Main line
When Abyssinia is driven from her prepared defences. the issue of prolonged resis tance will depend on the cor- rect use of these marksmen If because of the loss of pres- tige by retreat, it is decided to use men in masses, then the- Italian task will be the more easy, with big targets for their modern weapons.
If, on the other hand: guerilla warfare is adopted the rains might intervene before the con- quest of the country, as dis- tinct from mere occupation, could be made.
The Fairey Fantome, above, is the fastest and most heavily semzed zingle-senter fighter in the world. It was built by the Fairey Aviation Co., Ltd, for the competition recently held by the Belgian Government; carries an armament of four guns and`a cammans, exceeds the required 248 miles an hour; and can clinh 2,000 feet in sins minutes.
