The local dollar has declined a half-penny, opening on demand this morning at 1/6 (nominal). "Spot" silver declined 3/16 – to 29 5/16 and "forward" declined 5/16 to 28%.
The Loudon on New York cross- rate was quoted at £US$4.924. as compared with 5-US$1.911⁄4 while the New York on London cross-rate was not "quoted "owing to the holidays
