(By "Sticks") HOCKEY is just getting into its stride and, although the clubs of the Colony have barely settled down to the opening of the present sea- son, the Mamak Tournament has already com- menced, while it will not be long before the re- presentative matches between the Services and the Civilians, the Triangular Tournament and NOOY VALUABLE the International matches hold sway.
The majority of Clubs have secured very few newcomers and the present tendency seems to be for one player to play for two clubs, one a non-interested party in the Mamak Tournament. and the other an active party.
The St. Andrew's Hockey Club are still agitating for a ground, and until they obtain the use of the pitch they used last year they will not play off any of their Mamak games.
