K.C.C. JUNIORS AMAZING RUN OF SUCCESSES
(BY SKIP):
There is a full programme of bowls matches for to-morrow, with really nothing at stake in any of them. The Civil Service team, who are making a grand effort to rise from the bottom of the table, have been set a hard
task against the Recreio, and, al
though a victory over the Portu guese team is not beyond them, I do not consider they will mas- age it this time.
The home side, feeling a little annored at. the tricks fortune! has played on them recently, are fully determined
to revenge
themselves particularly for the defeat they suffered at the hands of the Kowloon Dock last Saturday, and I will not be sur prised if they win comfortably from the Civil Servants.

Jones was mainly responsible for the fine victory of the Civil Service team over the K.C.C. last Saturday in the Senior Division of the Lawn Bowls League. Jones, as a matter of BEER'S VERY fact, together with J. McKelvie, of Kowloon FINE LOCAL Docks, can be credited with the best perform- ance of the afternoon.
Jones, who was opposed to Hyde-Lay, skipped his rink with the greatest of foresight and although the K.CC men were showing good form, he established a commanding lead in the earlier stages of the game-17-1-which was sufficient to pall the team through.
