FROM a bowler's point of view, the heavy rain which fell between 1.30 and 2 p.m. last Saturday was nothing less than a tragedy, as it deprived six senior teams of a game and made conditions deplorable for those who play ed, as accurate bowling was impossible.
The Indian bowling section surprised both Kowloon Docks and themselves by their unexpected "victory" They snatched the points from the shipbuilders practically on the last head. In fairness to the Dock's team, however, it must be stated that
they were without the services of Gray, Greig and Morrison. Greig, I fancy, would be missed very badly, as no skip could have a more useful and willing assistant in front of him.
A. R. DULLAH AND A. R.
