Saturday morning fast, so heavy was the rain, even the most optimistic bowler had given up hope of having a game that afternoon, and it came as a pleasant surprise to all when the greens on the Kowloon side and most of them on the Island were declared open.

The Civil Servants did not get their chance of proving whether they were better than the Indians, as their game was the only Senior con- The K.C.C., in their match with test postponed. the Recreio, did not strike their usual form, and Hyde-Lay's rink was the only one to make a fight for the points. This rink is quite the best the K.C.C. team possesses, but it is believed by many that the other rinks can, be blended into winning combinations very soon.

Fraser had difficulty throughout the game, and the obvious solution to a knotty problem would be to play Tacchi at lead. where his consistent sense of length would serve his skip much better, and give Gittens a trial in the No. 3 position

It is not generally known that 15 years ago Tacchi was in the!

SEASON'S TITBIT TO-MORROW

AT KING'S PARK

THE best match on the card this week is undoubtedly that between THE

the Recreio and Craigengowe: “A” at King's Park, Kowloon. This is one of the tit-bits of the season, and, from a spectator's point of view, well worth seeing.

If C. G. Silva strikes the form he showed against Nish, then the home club should be victorious. It must be remembered, however, that when in opposition to the Bowling Green two of the Recreio zinks were defeated.

The Happy Valley team carries no passengers, and, after due reflection, one is constrained to take the Islanders as winners, al- though a win for the Recreio would not be altogether surprising.

S the result of Craigengower “A's? holiday last Saturday C. G Silva has displaced U. M. Omar at the head of the skips' table. his 25-14 win over J. Fraser's rink giving him the distinction of being 100 shots up in the course of only six games. J. Shepherd re- tained his 100 per cent. record, a distinction also held by UM. Omar and R. F Luz

.

J. J. Basto profited by J. C. Chalmers' surprising setback in the game against the Police, assuming the leadership of the junior division, though the Taikoo skip has played one less game. E. M. Remedios, however, dropped his 100 per cent. record.

Three new skips entered the list last Saturday- R. P. Phillips, R. Lapsley, and G. S. Alexander — and all suffered defeats.

The following is the complete record of every-skip in the 1935 Leagues to date:
