ing fabrics. Shirrings or a sash with butterfly bow in back ensure a slender hipline. The back de- collette in this style is deep, open nearly to the waist. However high the velvet bow or flower under the chin, the back is in- variably deep cut in contrast.
For dressy afternoon wear the long skirt a still favoured-In- step or ankle length being equally elegant.
