POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS HELD RESPONSIBLE
A decrease of $35,037.56 in the') proft for the year 1934, as com- pared with 1933, was reported at the fiftieth annual general meeting of Messrs. A. S. Watson and Co., Ltd., which was held in the Jacobean Room of the Hong Kong Hotel this morning, and which was presided over by Mr. D. E. Clark, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
This was due to the exception- ally cool, and wet summer experi enced. and the consequent con- siderable reduction in the output of nerated waters from both the Canton and Hong Kong fac-. Lories.
The Chairman was supported by Mr. A. B. Stewart-and Mr. M. H. Turner,. Directors, and Mr. J. A. Tarrant, Secretary.
