Following the recent influx into the Colony of European entertainers, Hong Kong is shortly to be enter tained by a troupe of girls from "The Land of the Thousand Tem- ple." when Ratu Idia and Dewi Ratna and their Royal Balinese Dancers make their first appearance at the Queen's Theatre on March 6.
This band of 42 artistes, with an orchestra of 15 and a staff of eight| European officers, who enjoyed a warm reception in, Singapore and other Straits ports, will arrive in the Colony on March 4: After their engagement here they will continue their mum-the-world trip to Can-j ton. Shanghai, Nanking, Tientsin, Peiping, America, and Europe.
Leading the band is Rath-1dja, the premier danseuse of the ballet, who is now at the peak of her career. and Dewi-Ratna. the grace ful, distinguished-looking dancer, who has won the heart of everyone who has keen her exotic creations.
