It is with the greatest pleasure that I write to congratulate you and your staff on the publication of
the 90th anniversary number of the China Mail. The attainment of so great an age postulates a high standard of ability and energy which has been well maintained down
to the present day by the long succession of its editors.
The China Mail has always been in close touch
with the affairs and activities of Hong Kong and its interest in and contributions to the Colony's welfare
