THE FEATURE OF THE GAME WAS THE BRILLIANT DISPLAY GIVEN IN GOAL BY GUEST, WHO RETURNED TO THE TEAM AFTER AN ABSENCE OF SEVERAL MONTHS. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS HE STOPPED AND CLEARED SHOTS THAT LOOKED CERTAIN GOALS. HIS KICKING WAS THE OUTSTANDING FEATURE OF HIS CLEARANCES.
He was very well supported by White and Angus, who sab- stituted for F. A. Broadbridge. They combined excellently at back, and stopped most of the determined movements led by Senior, the Corps' leader.

FEATURED THE VERY FAST AND EXCITING FIRST DIVI SION SOCCER CLASH BETWEEN THE LEAGUE LEADERS, SOUTH CHINA "A" AND THE FUSILIERS, WHICH ENDED IN A GOAL- LESS DRAW AFTER THE SOLDIERS HAD ENJOYED MOST OF THE | PLAY AT: CAROLINE HILL YESTERDAY.
THE FUSILIERS, FAR FROM SHOWING THE EFFECTS OF THEIR GAME ON THE PREVIOUS DAY, PLAYED SPARKLING FOOTBALL THROUGHOUT, AND OUTPLAYED, THE CHINESE IN ALL DEPARTMENTS OF THE GAME. THEY WERE DECIDEDLY UNLUCKY TO COME AWAY WITH ONLY ONE POINT.
Wheeler and Keating put up a magnificent showing in darinne
and with three hardworking halves in front of them, practically blot- ted out the South China forwards. Keating, in particular, was here, there and everywhere, when the Chinese threatened danger.
His splendid tackling and first-time clearances, always to an unmarked player, were features of a sterling defence.
