Bridge terminology is notorious- ly inexact. Many of the phrases In common use by Bridge writers and players have been taken øver. from the great game of Whist. When a new situation arises some- one invents a term to describe it. and whether it is highly descrip- tive
or not, the natural mental luziness of Bridge plavera. causes them to accent it;
For instance, you hear and read much about "end-plays" at Bridge. The term is a very loose one, but a8 most players under:
